Oral presentations

Poster submission date has been moved to 1st December 2025!

Oral presentation should be a maximum of 15 minutes, with 12 minutes for content and 3 minutes for Q&A, strictly adhering to these timings. Presentations should be submitted by 1st of December, to Associate Professor Marija Badanjak Sabolović’s e-mail adress: marija.badanjak.sabolovic@pbf.unizg.hr . An optional PowerPoint template is available to download.

Please be advised that the Organizational and Scientific Committees reserve the right to reassign the topic under which an oral or poster presentation is categorized. Should a change in topic occur from the one originally submitted by the authors, affected presenters will be notified in a timely manner.

Poster instructions

Posters will be organized into conference sections (according to topics) and displayed electronically both on spot (on screens and a touch screen), and on the conference web page. Poster presentations will be accessible on line (on the congress web page) at any time and displayed throughout the whole conference. On the screens at hotel Westin, posters will be rotated according to a scheduled programme.

Posters should be submitted by 14th of November 1st December 2025 in order to create full poster sessions. Poster should be submitted to Associate Professor Monika Kovačević’s e-mail address monika.kovacevic@pbf.unizg.hr.

Since the poster presentations will be in digital form, they should be submitted in PDF. Also it is very important to follow the instructions of the size of the poster. It should be in portrait format. Poster presentations must be written in English language. Template for the poster presentation can be downloaded on the button below.

We recommend that you prepare the poster presentations in powerpoint since this size and portrait format is applicable to it. All files will be transformed to PDF and therefore you should not use any animations or links on the posters.

BEST POSTER AWARD:  The first three best poster presentations (as selected by the members of the Scientific Committee) will be rewarded with a prize in the form of Tango gift cards:
1st place: 150 EUR
2nd place: 90 EUR
3rd place: 60 EUR

Cancellation Policy

The Conditions of Cancellation Policy apply to the use of the organization of the „11th International Congress of Food Technologists, Biotechnologists and Nutritionists“ to be held in Zagreb on December 9th -11th 2025, in Westin Hotel Zagreb,

  • Standard Cancellation: Cancellations received in writing (via email to pbncongress2025@pbf.unizg.hr) by November 7th 2025 will be eligible for a 100% refund of the registration fee.
  • Late Cancellations/No-Shows: In the event of cancellation after November 7th 2025, registration fees are non-refundable. However, you may transfer your registration to another individual within the same organization. Requests for registration transfer must be submitted in writing to email pbncongress2025@pbf.unizg.hr.

Notes:

  • This cancellation policy applies to all registrations.
  • All refunds based on cancellation are returned to the holder of the contract on the participation on the Congress. In the event that the payer is not also the holder of the contract, it is necessary to submit the written consent of the holder of the contract for the funds to be paid to the payer. In no case are the funds returned to the participant if he is neither the payer nor the holder of the participant contract. If the participation is paid for in cash or by card, the funds are paid to the account owned by the participation contract holder.
  • The conference organizers reserve the right to modify this cancellation policy at any time.
  • The place of jurisdiction for registered participant (traders, legal and natural persons who have no general place of jurisdiction in Republic of Croatia), as well as for natural persons who have relocated or resettled abroad after concluding a contract on participation in the Congress whose domicile or habitual residence at the time of the complaint is not known, is Zagreb.
  • When the participant registers for Congress attendance, the participant agrees to these terms.
  • If individual provisions within these General Terms of the Cancelation Policy should be or become entirely or partially ineffective or void, this shall, in principle, not compromise the efficacy of the contract on participation in the Congress as a whole.
